I have started coughing and hard to swallow or catching shortness of breath or like a lump in my throat. I am not sure if I should treat it as strep. ?
I got sick and I started to have a normal sore throat but then it started forming big red bumps at the back of my throat,looks like pimples, it burns when I drink eat or breathe. I was tested for strep but it came back negative. Any idea what it is ?

My 6 year old has been on cefdinir for four days for strep throat. Her breath still smells badly and is still red with white pus spots. Is this normal? We skipped amoxicillin because it didnt kill it last time she had strep?
