Rely on ultrasound: It is true that an HCG of 7000 means that you should see a fetal pole. But the HCG is a less important tool now. It is very important early on to differentiate an ectopic. Your ultrasound shows that the pregnancy is in the uterus and not an ectopic. It's ok to wait and repeat the ultrasound. There is no harm in waiting one week and looking again.

Wait it out...: Err on the side of caution. Ultrsound isn't perfect and it won't hurt to wait a week or even two to be sure. Your doctor may end up being right but you need to be comfortable with the diagnosis before any intervention. I would repeat the u/s in 1-2 weeks. Best wishes!
