Could be fine: Early pregnancy ultrasounds at 5 weeks can sometimes show only a gestational sac and no fetal pole. When women are in the situation with HCG levels that are doubling every 2-3 days there is a good chance that everything is fine. I will sometimes have a woman get another ultrasound in 5-7 days to see if the gestational sac is larger.
