Needs evaluation: Generally speaking, mild disc issues are fairly common on imaging such as MRI. The question of shooting pain in the arm and leg requires a more detailed evaluation of cervical spine (neck) and Lumbar spine ( lower back) including possible MRI to rule out any major disc issues.
