so about 3 days ago my sons father was diagnosed with strep c. i have been feeling a tickle in my throat and chest could that mean i have strep c?

Dr. Florence Nwofor
Specializes in Pediatrics
Unlikely?: C strep actually colonizes our respiratory tract without causing symptoms in the healthy person so a positive test from the throat will need to be interpretation carefully. Your symptoms suggest a non infectious etiology and will need to be properly assessed for recommendations on the probable cause of your symptoms.
