Tinnitus : Is an inner ear problem. The cause should be determined by investigating this area. Ear drops are unlikely to help. All the best.

No: Otitis externa involves only the ear canal and has nothing to do with the middle ear where the tinnitus originates. Unfortunately, the exact cause of tinnitus may not be found despite exhaustive studies but with the pulsatile nature, I recommend that you consult an ear specialist ASAP.
