Ent prescribed to me ear drops&ointment for mild otitis external in right ear.i am using them 3 days.since yesterday whenever i burp i feel momentarily in that ear a pressure feeling i wasn't feeling before. can ear drops caused this?

It is possible that the ear drops prescribed for otitis externa could cause a pressure sensation in the ear. This may be due to the medication affecting the Eustachian tube, which connects the middle ear to the back of the throat and helps equalize pressure in the ear.
