Who said that?: Your granddaughter and your dog get more radiation in the basement of a newly built house than they could possible get from you after a cardiac nuclear stress test. If you were given a Technetium 99m product with your test than the radiation is effectively completely gone in 24 hours, and is barely detectable outside of your urine the same day. You were given poor advice.
