Possible: Being a viral illness, moist areas, mucosa-vaginal area are more prone to blisters and sores. This is more common in young children and transmitted non sexually in them, via saliva and touch contact. It is typically self limiting. Hope your diagnosis is for sure HFMD. There are other viruses that can look similar.

Very contagious: If you have open lesions or bumps that are red and not fading you could be contagious. I don't think you would get bumps on your genitals but I would not have any direct contact for at least a week. The disease usually only is confined to the mucous membranes and extremities, which is why the name HFMD. Please be careful !
