Good question: I would discuss this with your Prescribing Dr. Often, to start, an antibx course may be prescribed at your dose, then a 'Maintenance' dose of once daily may be ordered to tone down bacterial concentrations in the skin, with the hopes of preventing acne. Best wishes.
