A member asked:

Ive had strep throat for about 2 weeks now and i have completed the antibiotics but now its worse. i can't swallow, my ears hurt, what do i do now?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can examine: If one has a tonsil infection, and it is a bacterial infection like strep throat, she will have taken antibiotics. If she is worse, such as having more pain, difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, or too much cough, then it is hard to tell what is going on without another exam. That means seeing the doctor again. Bad things like a big tonsillar abscess or throat abscess can happen.
