Infection: 21 year old lady with symptoms of pharyngitis, dysphagia and associated otitis media with possible eustachian tube irritation. Please visit your MD for a full exam, ear, nose, and mouth/throat exam. If the otalgia is secondary ( referred from tonsillitis/pharyngitis) then the ear exam will be normal. If you have severe dysphagia or other symptoms of strep, a rapid strep can be done. Good luck.
