2 year old has rash on side of his cheek close to his mouth. it kind of looks like chapped lips but on his cheek near corner lip area?

Cheek rashes: Without a picture, it's difficult to diagnose a rash. It sounds like it could be chapped skin, but I can't be sure. If it is chapped skin, aquaphor or vaseline may help.

Atopy or infectious: description sounds like a dermatitis especially if this has persisted for more than a week. Similar lesion at the corner of the lips; perleche may be treated with topical antibacterial ointment or antifungal cream.
