Opinion: Impossible to give an opinion sight unseen. Trust your Dentist. If he/she thinks your gum's infected, it's infected. Evaluation by a gum specialist, a Periodontist, may be prudent. Ask your Dentist for advice.

Hello, please advise me on what I can get for relief: my gums are sore by my back right wisdom tooth (all my wisdom teeth came out fine). The gum is receding and swollen and painful. I've tried using andolex mouthwash to no avail.
