? further evaluation: B"sd It is distinctly unusual to have a lumbar fx at her age - ?was there severe trauma. In any case pain with lumbar fx should resolve in a few months. There may be reason to assess her bone health status as well as for the fracture site itself. Weight is another issue which deserves full attention, but would resolve the bony issues first. Would be glad to discuss in greater details.
