1 look=1000 words: How big is the lump? Is it painful? Discolored? More information or maybe a picture would be helpful to further give an impression of what this means. It could be many different things, and many of these are not serious medical problems. Getting a doctor to look at it will help to tell what it is, but sometimes you don't know for sure until it is removed. But not all lumps need to be removed.
