See answer: After radioiodine Rx you must stay 6 feet away from children and pregnant women for 24 hours. May return to work in 24 hours. For 24 hours must sleep 6 feet away from adults. Depending on the dose of radioiodine you must sleep in a separate bed from children and pregnant women for 6 days up to 21 days. Travel time by public transportation is strictly limited for 3-4 days and is dose dependent.
