Yes you can: Both Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and Claritin can cause a drowsy sleepy feeling. So they should not be taken together at the same time or mixed with Alcohol. But there is no harm done if you take them about 12 hours apart by which time the Benadryl (diphenhydramine) will be out of your system. Best wishes
