This is complex: Human emotions are not that simple. Children tend to "bounce back" better than adults, but this is a very complex situation and requires great patience, continued support for the child and professional help.

No: How old is the child? Perhaps the child is struggling between desire to reconcile with mother and anger toward her and many other emotions. Simply having court terminate mother‘s right will not solve the deeper psychological problem the child may be having. The best outcome usually comes from reconciliation, with guidance, if possible.
