See ur FamilyDoc/GYN: One of the known side effects aka complications of starting hormonal birth control is spotting & irregular bleeding. So chat w/prescribing doc, whether Family Physician or GYN, to determine your options. We often warn patients to be patient & wait 3 months to allow your body to adjust. Go to ER if you feel lightheaded or faint from blood loss.
