There aren't any: Topical benzoyl peroxide is the best over-the-counter remedy. The online stuff (vinegar, squeezed lemons, egg white, plastering yourself with honey) won't work & i suspect is sometimes the work of cruel pranksters. Especially if you are responsible for the emotional and physical health of a teen with acne, get them to a scientific physician. Neglect this & there will be a lifetime of regrets.

Many good ones: There are many home remedies for acne. Vitamin a, c, e, d, zinc, selenium & chromium & fish oil can help. Minimize fried foods, dairy and sweets. An interesting website that discusses home remedies is http://www.Earthclinic.Com/cures/acne.Html here people discuss what has and has not worked for them. Apple cider vinegar & hydrogen peroxide are the 2 most popular ones listed.
