Get Rx: Benzoyl peroxide is the only over-the-counter remedy that will help much and the "pop" remedies don't work. Your physician may add topical clindamycin, a retinoic acid derivative, or both, and if you are not clear in a month, add a systemic antibiotic such as tetracycline 500 2x/day. For the strongest stuff, a dermatologist can help.
