Good question: B'"sd Diabetic kidney disease varies depending on many factors including the duration of the disease, the degress of blood sugar elevation, elevated blood pressure, blockage of the arteries to the kidney, other kinds of kidney disease and probably a lot on genetics. Usualy, it comes on slowly after ~ 10 years of elevated blood sugar. Need urine and blood tests Wud be glad to discuss in detail.
