Some mornings i feel 'foggy brained', tongue tied and very nervous about what is happening to me. it lasts until lunch time.

Many things: Check in with your GP. Sleep disruption from apnea, periodic limb movement, joint pain, menopause symptoms, alcohol, or too much food before bed mean not enough hours of quality sleep & miserable mornings. Also, think thyroid dysfunction, vitamin deficiency, depression, anxiety. Is there anything different about the last 4 hours before bed on mornings that you awake like this? Best wishes to you
