Neuralgia: From your description it's very difficult to determine exactly what is happening. A weird sensation can be many different things including pain, numbness, flutter, loss of taste, burning as well as bad taste. There are two different nerves affecting the tongue, sensation and movement. Either of these can be affected by abnormalities in the brain or nerve tracts. See a neurologist or ENT Doctor .
