I broke my anckle 3 years ago i had x-rays today because it was been bothering me it turns out i broke syndesmotic screw do i need to remove it now?

To remove or not....: The first thing that has to be determined is that your present ankle problem is indeed due to the broken screw, or for some other reason. Your ankle surgeon should be able to make that determination. Whether or not it needs to be removed is undoubtedly determined, in part, as to just how much it bothers you.
