A member asked:

Is a numb left hand only <5 min with normal movement, temp to lip a complexmigraine if you have history of migraine aura and panic attack or maybe tia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe, maybe &: maybe. Any abnormality, including Migraine Aura & TIA. along the pathway from the brain to the wrist can cause temporary numbness. Also, pressure on a nerve from an external source and a temporary chemical imbalance that occurs with hyperventilation, can cause numbness or tingling. I strongly encourage you to consult with your GP about this phenomenon. Best wishes. Dr. Anne.
