Have it examined: Pain can be coming from different issues.. sinusitis, an infection, a fracture, and even a non-vital nerve. Best bet is to not guess and have your dentist take a look.

Contact DDS: Go to the dentist for a complete clinical and radiographic examination. Variables include, loose crown and need for recementation, need for root canal therapy, occlusal interference or periodontal issues. The dentist will also rule out possible trauma.

Infection or a crack: Like any other tooth, a crowned tooth sometimes develops an infection or crack/ fracture in the root and needs to be treated by the dentist or endodontist.
