What you are: describing are called palpitations, and if they are causing you to be light headed, then you need to see a healthcare provider right away for help with diagnosis. Preferably in a setting where you can get an EKG, some blood work, monitoring of your heart, and access to Cardiology consultation, such as an Emergency room.
