See an orthopod: After making sure that no deep vein thrombosis in that leg, you need to see an orthopedic surgeon, mentioned you had knee pain, inflammation may be affecting the ankle as well. As for breastfeeding, pain killers like paracetamol or NSAIDs as ibuprofen won't affect your baby , but tell your doctor if s/he wants to prescribe something different, good luck
