Can you have hypothyroidism if you have nodules but your tsh is normal? haven't had any other testing such as ft4 etc

Not hypothyroid: Generally, If your TSH is normal you are not hypothyroid in the view of most physicians. However there is a controversial concept called "Functional Hypothyroidism" which is promoted by physicians practicing a lucrative alternative medicine they call Functional Medicine. Their claim that some patients have hypothyroidism despite a normal TSH is not accepted by mainstream medicine.
