Hi i am 55yrs old female. i am able to walk 5+ kilometers with no issues but walking up a set of stairs i am very winded should this be concerning?

Possibly: Walking up a flight of stairs requires different energy and physical requirements than walking on flat surface, and I'm not clear how fast you're walking on the flat surface. If you have other cardiac risk factors (high bp, high cholesterol, overweight, family history), you should see a Cardiologist and consider a stress test. In the interim, you should focus on walking the stairs more often.
