Few possibilities : Gastritis can certainly lead to that, especially of severe, or if an ulcer has developed. If the acid is very high it can come into the esophagus and worsen the situation causing esophagitis. Gallbladder issues also a possibility but would usually cause right sided chest pain. Suggest seeing a doc. Avoiding ALL FOODS that can worsen. Taking Prilosec in morning and Zantac (ranitidine) at night.
