More info needed...: That's a pretty high spike in you BP. When was your last physical? Are you active or sedentary? Does your BP spike like this at other times or only when going to the dentist? It would be wise to be examined by your physician for any underlying conditions.. all the best.

Contact MD: See your MD for a complete evaluation. Prior to any dental procedures, the MD will need to clear you and possibly put you on needed medication. There is also the chance that the reading was a screen and false positive - have it checked out.
