Foot feels like i have a tiny splinter when i step on it but i cant find anything. can anything bad cause this sensation?

Splinter?: I doubt there is anything to worry about. If you don't see an open sore or sign of irritation (swelling, redness), I would expect this sensation to pass. Of course, look at your feet frequently to check for anything unusual.
