Symptoms may also represent the progression of your urinary tract infection; a condition called pyelonephritis or in layman's terms a "kidney infection". If the symptoms have resolved, continue your UTI medication as prescribed. If the symptoms return or worsen, follow up with the Doctor who initiated your treatment.
