EAR PAIN: The pressure created by blowing his nose pushed against the inside of the eardrum; producing pain. The pain should resolve relatively quickly however if pain persists beyond 24hrs, blood or other drainage comes from the ear, or ear ringing and/or dizziness are noted, his pediatrician should take a look. You give Motrin or Tylenol (acetaminophen). Do not place drops or objects into ear.
