Not recommended: The current FDA recommendations state that expired medications can be less effective or risky due to a change in chemical composition or decrease in potency. Improper storage. such as a humid bathroom cabinet, can also contribute to decreased effectiveness medications. Store in controlled climate.

Safe?: Certainly it is safe to use in terms of being expired. I could not make the statement that Meloxicam is a safe drug in general. Be sure and look at the black box warnings.
