Yes: Caffeine is a stimulant and can definitely make your anxiety worse. Try gradually decreasing your intake and see if this improves your anxiety. As always please follow up with your provider who knows you best.

Yes. Caffeine is a: stimulant--the exact opposite of what your nervous system needs if prone to panic. Anxiety triggers adrenaline, which is the body's own version of speed, so adding caffeine to decrease your anxiety would be like trying to put out a fire with gasoline. Excess caffeine makes this worse. Hx of anxiety? See a therapist and learn CBT, meditation, mindfulness, etc.
