A member asked:

I have self-diagnosed "anxiety attacks" when sleeping sometimes if i've had 5hrs sleep over 3days or due caffeine/stress. one recurring theme is a feeling there is an angry wasp stuck in my throat trying to escape. i'd love to understand this further?

Since you know that caffeine is contributing to your symptoms, cutting down of caffeine, particularly in the afternoon would be wise. Speak to a therapist regarding your anxiety. Anxiety attacks can be treated by behavioral therapy, relaxation exercises and with medications, but addressing the root cause of your anxiety may alleviate it altogether and eliminate the need for medications.
