Doubtful: Sounds like you have reflux disease, but Barrett's is diagnosed with a biopsy taken at the time of upper endoscopy. You should ask your primary care doctor if a referral to a gastroenterologist is appropriate. In addition to medication and lifestyle changes, there are endoscopic and surgical procedures available for some patients. Hope this helps!
