Likely not: You are young and it is a rapidly progressive disease and in 3 months you would likely have other symptoms such as inattention, confusion, hallucinations, ataxia, myoclonus, and others. It often starts in midlife though there is a range. If you are really concerned, please see your neurologist for a thorough evaluation and workup of your memory loss, which is common with poor sleep.

INSOMNIA: INSOMNIA DESERVES A THROUGH EVALUATION. EXAM&LABS. Sleep can be assisted by maintaining a good sleep schedule. A dark room with cool temperature and music therapy. You should also have labs checked for CBC/CMP/Vit d /B12/thyroid. If it persists and there is snoring or difficulty breathing a sleep study may be needed. To evaluate Sleep Apnea &RLS
