No, I certainly would not break off the crowns. You might cause more harm than good. My initial question is did you have any other dental treatment in the area of the crowns. Secondly, did the problems happen right after crowns were placed. We’re X-rays taken when you were seen by subsequent practitioners. Does anything alleviate your headaches, insomnia. Was a tomographic “X-ray” taken.

Absolutely not. Chances are you will do irreparable harm to tooth/bone/soft tissue structures. Recommend specialist investigations by Endodontist (tooth vitality), Prosthodontist (crown shape and envelope of motion), Neurologist (non-dental etiology), & Oral Medicine specialist (atypical dental etiology).
