Abdominal pain...: Pain in that region of the abdomen can be due to constipation but there can be other possible causes. For example, diverticulitis can give pain in the left lower abdomen. If the pain continues, you need to see your doctor to see if there is anything else causing this pain, besides constipation. Good luck!!!
