Low, Not Impossible: Kids today do things other than sex, and those acts could also spread certain stds. Even kissing can spread herpes readily. If they are younger, the risk goes down. Virgins it goes down yet again. Also sociodemographic differences should be evaluated as a potential risk increase, or decrease, depending.

Of course!: You knew that, didn't you? Only some form of barrier protection like a condom can prevent the spread of std's which are transmitted by contact.

Unusual: If both the male and female are virgins in the true sense, it is unlikely that there is much risk of an std. However, if one of the virgins had oral sex and did not count that as a sexual experience, there is some risk. It has been my experience that partners are not always honest, so , please use condoms, even if you hare having sex with a "virgin".

Always: Always a risk of stds if not using condoms. You can pick up stds without actual intercourse and still technically be a virgin, so virginity alone does not guarantee that you have never been exposed to an std. It would depend on the extent of sexual activity and other exposure.
