More information: Dear patalbre34: Are you referring to a thyroid ultrasound? If so, most likely, the FNA and Thyroseq were not enought to make an accurate diagnosis. The needles used for this procedure are very tiny and sometimes the amount of tissue that you get from them is not enough to make an accurate diagnosis. Hope this helps. All the best, Ariel
