Babies: Spend so much time on their backs it often takes awhile for them to establish pushing up. Supervised tummy time at this age is important and more of it may help. It sounds like he is starting and while on your chest has your face that he wants to look at. Placing objects around him may help to encourage him. Continue to follow his development with his doctor.
