Likely Irritation: This sounds like irritation, a couple of easy remeadies are using petroleum jelly (vasaline) on the irritated/icthy nipple. Also you could use a good support bra. But in regards to Breast Cancer, try to determine when your grandmother BC and if your mother or any sisters, aunts also had BC and when. If this occured early in life (less than 45) talk to your doctor about any concerns.
