Fibroids: Fibroid growths is the uterus are smooth muscle cell entities that grow in response to estrogen and can greatly enlarge the uterus. They can also cause miscarriages and premature labor when their location interferes with pregnancy expansion jettisoning the uterine contained pregnancy. Ask you MD as to whether this has been confirmed by ultrasound or examination.
