Maybe (not) . . .: Looks like you're in the UK while the docs on this forum are on the other side of the pond. While I can't speak for other docs, I'd ask you to review side effects of Provigil (modafinil) http://www.drugs.com/sfx/provigil-side-effects.html. I don't recommend medications & treatments unless desired benefit exceeds potential risk. And unless you have a documented sleep disorder, it's not work risk.

Well, we can't.: Being that ProVigil is a controlled substance, we really can't prescribe it virtually. A local doctor can prescribe it to you after a proper discussion about risks, benefits and addictive potential and once a mutual agreement is reached about its utility and safety.
